Artist statement
This installation explores an unknown aftermath, part physiological, part alien landscapes and lastly a possible natural disaster of our earth. The work sits quietly on the floor, timeless, stark, wounded and creator like. Within the charcoal ruins are hints of intense colour, blues, reds and whites. How did they come about? Was it due to the pressures of the disaster or are they residues of former natural phenomena?
